2026 Avenues Street Fair
PEOPLE'S ART GALLERY APPLICATION

We invite all artists living in the Avenues to enter their work in the People’s Art Gallery!
Application deadline: September 15, 2026

The People's Art Gallery is a celebration of the talent and diversity we have in our neighborhood! We invite artists of all ages living in the Avenues to enter their work. We encourage entries of paintings, drawings, photography, jewelry, sculpture and three‐dimensional art.

The 2026 Street Fair will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We ask that all artwork in the People’s Art Gallery remain on display all day.

Awards will be presented in five categories: 0 ‐ 9 yrs., 10‐13 yrs., 14‐18 yrs., adult amateur and adult professional.

Street Fair voters will select a People's Choice Award for youth and for adults.

The People’s Art Gallery is a free-to enter celebration of the artistic talent and diversity we have in our Avenues neighborhood!

We set up an open-air gallery in the middle of the Avenues Street Fair, and we welcome entries of paintings, drawings, photography, jewelry and three-dimensional art from all ages.

The People’s Gallery gives awards in different categories each year.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD – Adult and Youth

The People’s Choice Award is voted on by fairgoers for the Adult and Youth categories.

Special thanks from the Avenues Street Fair to Mary Shaub for her donation of the People’s Choice Award gift certificates!

During the 2025 Fair, 1,692 votes were cast by Fair attendees for the People’s Choice winners.

The People’s Art Gallery gives Avenues artists a public place to display their work, and the Avenues Street Fair committee receives a donation to cover our Age Group prizes.

Our age group winners are selected by professional artists, and we thank this year’s judges Sheri Gibb and Todd Oberndorfer.
