LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

We have one main stage this year, and several busker stations, each featuring live entertainment from local volunteer musical bands and singing groups. The musical fare is chosen for its variety and local appeal. It’s a great way to hear some good music, while taking a short break from shopping and enjoying the booths.

The D Street Stage will be located at 3rd Avenue and D Street, near the food court. Music starts at 9:30 a.m. shortly after the Children’s Parade. Each band plays for a little over one hour. The Avenues Street Fair does not pay any entertainers and we do not charge our entertainers.

Email streetfair@slc-avenues.org with any questions about performing at the Fair. We have closed band applications for this year, and we will post the band schedule here soon.  Thank you to all the bands who have applied.  If you were not accepted, please consider our Busker Station option.

NEW THIS YEAR – A BUSKER STATION!

We will have a busker station this year at the east end of the Fair near the Nate Wade Subaru I Street Entrance. This is a new feature of the Avenues Street Fair. Our Busker list so far is:

Each performer will be provided a one hour time slot, and you may display your merch and take donations. Buskers bring their own instruments. This is intended to be acoustic, but you may bring a small speaker and amp. We will have an electrical connection at the station.
