Join Us As A Sponsor!
We count on the generous support of our Corporate Sponsors to put on the Fair. Why do we need financial support? Each year, the Fair costs nearly $30,000 to host, which covers equipment rentals, security, permits, printing of banners, posters and flyers, advertising, water, and supplies. It is quite the undertaking, all by our community volunteers.
Platinum Level $2,500 — We provide prime sponsorship signage at both ends of the fair, a complimentary booth at a prime location, oversized banner display, prominent and inclusive marketing on promotional materials, and recognition during the opening ceremony.
Gold Level $1,500 — We provide prime sponsorship signage at one of the two ends of the fair, a complimentary booth at a prime location, oversize banner display, prominent and inclusive marketing on all our event promotional materials.
Silver Level $1,000 — A complimentary booth, banner display, targeted marketing and logo on promotional materials. Signage at either the Children’s Area or People’s Art Gallery recognizing you as a supporter of this element of the Fair.
Bronze Level $500 — We provide a complimentary booth, banner display, targeted marketing and logo on printed promotional materials.
Our Bronze level is also for in-kind donations of products or services to the event, such as reduced price advertising, providing water for our water stations, or other goods or services for the Fair. Our Bronze donors have provided services valued at $500 or more to the Fair.
What your Sponsor Donations Provide
The Avenues Street Fair is the annual fundraiser for the Greater Avenues Community Council. Any funds left over after covering the expenses of the Fair are used for projects that benefit the Greater Avenues as a whole, and are consistent with the historic characteristics of the neighborhood. Projects supported by Street Fair proceeds include the annual Memory Grove Cleanup, the Avenues Community Choir, the 11th Avenue at Terrace Hills Water-Wise Demonstration Garden and Pergola, and the monthly Avenues newsletter The Agenda.
The Greater Avenues Community Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our EIN is 55-0803051. Your donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by IRS regulations.
If you are interested in being a sponsor, please contact the planning committee at streetfair@slc-avenues.org, or fill out one of our sponsor applications at the links above.
If you still need assistance for the Avenues Street Fair or need to contact us directly, you may email us at streetfair@slc-avenues.org.
Silent Auction
Every year we count on the generous support of contributors to our Silent Auction. Avenues area businesses who donate to the auction have their business recognized at the Event Headquarters booth during the Fair, on our Stage during the Fair, in our newsletter and during the drawings. Thank You! We are looking for silent auction items such as entertainment or travel experiences, dining out, gift baskets, art or cultural items.
