As we enter a new school year, I want to take a moment to remind everyone to exercise extra caution on the road. Please remember to account for traffic
delays during school pickup and dropoff times, drive slowly and carefully near school zones, and keep an eye out for pedestrians, bikes, and buses.

It was announced last month that the proposed Liberty Arch project will no longer move forward at its original Capitol Hill site. Many of you took the time to voice your opposition to the project’s imposition on Capitol Hill’s natural landscape, and your feedback contributed to the decision to halt the project.

Short-Term Rentals: Over the past month, many residents have brought questions and concerns regarding the new short-term rental ordinance. The
City’s Administration is considering changes to bring to the Council. For now, the original ordinance remains in effect.
