2025 Avenues Community Improvement Grant Funds Are Available!

The Greater Avenues Community Council is fortunate to have funds in reserve, and our Bylaws authorize the use of GACC funds for the betterment of our community. Our 2025 budget includes up to $3,000 for community improvement grants. Grant applications will be accepted from February 1, 2025 through October 15, 2025 or until all current year funds have been awarded.  Various city officials, GACC board members and community members will help review the applications and decide which projects will receive grant funds in 2025.

We will review applications as they are submitted.  We will continue to accept applications until October, or until all current year grant funds have been awarded. Projects can be of a physical nature, as well as educational, environmental……the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. What can make the Avenues even better for all?

Applications will need to show a benefit of the project to the broader Avenues community. Funds cannot benefit a private property, a residence, or a commercial business. Examples of recent community improvement projects include tree planting in public areas, Memory Grove Park improvements, improvements at our community garden, Avenues lending libraries, and shades for street lights.
