Featured Artist

Each year the Avenues Street Fair selects a new Featured Artist who then creates an original work of art of what The Avenues means to them. We are pleased to present our 2024 Featured Artist, accomplished painter and muralist Renae Cannon.

The original image she has created as the theme of this year’s Avenues Street Fair is shown below. 

Her original artwork is now the thene art in all our event promotional materials, including our event poster, tshirt and print ads.

Renae is co-owner of Avenues on Fourth with Dena Kennedy, 376 East 4th Avenue. Stop in any time to see the store, Renae’s art, and a wonderful collection of Avenues themed arts, crafts and decor.  Make sure to stop by Renae’s and Avenues on Fourth’s booth at the Street Fair; they will be located between F and G Streets on the south side of the street, near the GACC headquarters booth.

Our D Street Stage will be at the corner of 3rd Avenue and D Street.  Our scheduled performers and times are below.
