There are many ways to participate in the Avenues Street Fair.

1. ATTEND

The main way to participate is to attend the Fair and enjoy one of Utah’s premiere community celebrations!

Save the date, Saturday, September 13, 2025. The Fair will be on 8th Avenue between D and K Streets, Salt Lake City 84103, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

2. VOLUNTEER

It takes about 200 volunteers to put on this special event, and some volunteer assignments are only one hour long on the day of the Fair, some happen the night before, or months before helping plan the Fair.

We have many volunteer jobs to fill, especially on the day of the Fair. Visit this link and scroll down to see our VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP PAGE showing all the assignments. 

3. APPLY TO HAVE A BOOTH AT THE FAIR    Note: The 2025 Avenues Street Fair is full. We thank everyone for your interest in participating as a vendor. We have 200 vendor spaces and we received over 350 applications.   

We are in touch with all our vendors who are A. Approved or B. on the Waitlist.

We will post the booth assignment map here soon. It is changing daily as we work in sponsors, city offices that want to be in our event, and changes based on fire department regulations and cancellations. 

The Fair will be on 8th Avenue between D and K Streets, Salt Lake City UT 84103, and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Email streetfair@slc-avenues.org with any questions.

5. PEOPLE’S ART GALLERY – enter your own artwork!

The People’s Art Gallery is a celebration of the talent and diversity we have in our Avenues neighborhood. Each year we dedicate an area of the Street Fair as an open air gallery where Avenues residents of all ages and talent levels display their creations and win prizes! We invite artists of all ages living in the Avenues to enter their work. We encourage entries of paintings, drawings, photography, jewelry and three-dimensional art. 6. ENTERTAINMENT – perform at our fair!

 We have two stages of entertainers at our Fair at D and J Streets.
